Projects

Laguna Beach

A white-beamed vaulted room, a fireplace flanked by built-in shelves under a gilt mirror and iron sconces, and cane-and-timber chairs drawn around a low table on a jute rug in low sunlight.

Brentwood

A curved cream boucle sofa and matching ottoman on a patterned wool rug, rust and sage cushions along the back and a striped throw over the arm, with three framed prints above and a sage-green round table holding a chess set, books and a lit candle beside a tall potted tree at a black-framed window.

Paris — Mid Century

A Parisian sitting room: two green upholstered chairs and a cream boucle ottoman on a moss-green rug, a white fireplace under a tall gilt mirror, and an open-tread wooden stair climbing the wall behind them.

Baja, Mexico

Two framed landscape paintings above a plaster fireplace with a dark screen, a hammered copper basin on a stand in the foreground and tall earthenware vessels either side.

Venice Beach

The stone table close up — a trailing plant, a green candle in a glass and a stack of books on the dark veined top, with the cane chair backs behind and daylight through an open door.

Tustin Ranch

An antique terracotta vessel of dried branches on a travertine pedestal, against a fluted timber screen, with a carved wooden stool and a pale glazed jar on the oak floor beside it.

Javaneh Pirooz
